Editor's Review
Fate/Grand Order (FGO) is a mobile role-playing game developed by Delightworks and published by Aniplex. Based on the highly popular Fate franchise by Type-Moon, it brings an immersive story-driven experience filled with historical, mythological, and fictional heroes called “Servants.” Players take on the role of a “Master,” traveling through time to repair human history by resolving anomalies known as Singularities.
The game combines turn-based combat, deep storytelling, and gacha-style summoning mechanics. Its visual presentation, impressive voice acting, and detailed character lore have turned it into one of the most celebrated RPGs in the mobile gaming world. FGO frequently hosts special events, limited-time banners, and collaborations that keep the community active and engaged. Available for both Android and iOS, the English version provides global players with access to the same thrilling adventures as the Japanese release.
In addition to its gameplay, Fate/Grand Order stands out for its narrative depth. Each chapter explores different periods of human history—from ancient Rome to the distant future—while incorporating dramatic twists and character-driven moments. The writers, including Kinoko Nasu and other Type-Moon veterans, crafted an intricate world that goes far beyond a typical mobile game plot.
Personal Review
As a long-time RPG fan, I found Fate/Grand Order to be one of the most captivating mobile experiences I’ve ever played. The storytelling quality genuinely surprised me—it feels more like reading a visual novel than playing a simple gacha game. Each Servant has unique abilities and backstories that make battles feel personal, and the art style is simply stunning.
However, I must admit that the game can be demanding. The grind to level up Servants or acquire rare characters through summoning can test your patience. Still, the sense of accomplishment after completing a challenging Singularity or summoning a favorite character makes it all worthwhile. The emotional depth, combined with strategic gameplay, keeps me coming back for more.
Overall, Fate/Grand Order is not just a game—it’s an emotional journey. Whether you enjoy history, anime, or tactical combat, FGO offers a little something for everyone.
How To Play?

Start as a Master – After installing the game, players create a profile and begin their adventure in Chaldea, an organization tasked with preserving humanity’s timeline.

Summon Servants – Use Saint Quartz (premium currency) or Summon Tickets to call forth Servants of different classes, such as Saber, Archer, Lancer, Caster, Assassin, Rider, and Berserker.

Form a Team – Strategically select a balanced party based on Servant skills, class advantages, and Noble Phantasms (special attacks).

Engage in Battles – Combat is turn-based, relying on a command card system. Choosing the right combination of cards—Arts, Quick, and Buster—affects damage, critical chances, and NP (Noble Phantasm) gain.

Upgrade and Enhance – Level up your Servants using experience cards, enhance skills with materials, and ascend them to unlock new forms and abilities.

Complete Singularities – Progress through the main story to fix corrupted parts of history. Each chapter offers cinematic storytelling and boss fights.

Participate in Events – Regular in-game events grant exclusive rewards, limited Servants, and bonus experience—perfect for strengthening your roster.
